The first of its kind Master’s Programme at the University of Bayreuth is taught in English and aims at training national and international professionals in the field of battery technologies along the entire value chain starting from battery materials and electrochemistry up to battery packs up to battery management systems. These qualifications are currently in high demand on the job market.

It deals with central questions of energy storage in an interdisciplinary way and focuses on issues such as efficiency and safety of new battery materials in a natural science orientation.

The Master's programme is taught in English.
