Participants of the delegation visit on 31 October 2024

Last Thursday, the Chief Technology Officer of Schaeffler AG, Uwe Wagner, and his team visited the Bavarian Center for Battery Technology (BayBatt) at the University of Bayreuth.
After a welcome by University President Prof. Leible, Board Member Prof. Dr. Christina Roth introduced the BayBatt. Prof. Dr. Nella Vargas-Barbosa and Prof. Dr. Fridolin Röder presented examples of BayBatt's main areas of research and the Schaeffler team gave exciting insights into battery technology at Schaeffler AG. After a lively exchange, the visit to BayBatt ended with a guided tour of the Keylab BayBatt Cell Technology Center by its scientific director, Prof. Dr. Francesco Ciucci.
