About us

BayBatt is a central research institute of the University of Bayreuth with research groups from four faculties.

The team consists of a steering committee, which manages the BayBatt, and members who shape the battery-specific research and teaching.
The advisory committee is made up of a renowned consortium from science and industry and advises BayBatt on strategic issues. The BayBatt office is active on the technical and administrative level and maintains the operation of keylabs and study programmes.
